Justin Jones, I'll Miss You

My friend Justin Jones passed away just as the hurricane was about to hit.
I thought I would share a small story that really captures the essence of Justin.

I was about to preform my first solo in front of my fellow classmates. Since I was nervous, I made the mistake of telling Justin which song I was planning on singing. The song was Mercy Seat which references a lot of running. Well, he concocted a plan to have everyone in the crowd run in place, which he told me just as I was about to walk onto the platform. I took a deep breath and sent daggers (via my eyes) at Justin who was ginning obnoxiously at me. My song started and I clinched my eyes shut to keep from laughing as I saw everyone "running." Well the joke was on him because by the time I got to the second verse the Glory had fallen and people were running to the alter. Justin was among those. Knowing Justin, that might have been his intent all along. He believed in worshiping with your whole body and claimed to have a few theories about it.
